Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for Walton Correctional Institution in De Funiak Springs, Florida. The role works under supervision of the Dentist/Hygienist in a correctional setting, with duties including instrument sterilization, operatory maintenance, and chairside assistance.

Required: high school diploma or GED and dental assisting program or 6 months experience; license or ability to obtain; CPR; TB screening; and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a dental assisting program or six months of experience preferred.
• Current dental assistant license or ability to obtain one required.
• Expanded duty certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within first year.
• CPR certification required.
