Job summary

Advanced Dentistry of Scarsdale and Chappaqua Dentistry is seeking a full‑time team member to greet patients, seat them, and act as a liaison between patients and the doctor in a busy dental practice. Experience with Dentrix Ascend and dental procedures is preferred.

You will support the doctor by preparing trays, taking x‑rays, and maintaining clean, ready operatory spaces while ensuring excellent patient care and a welcoming experience for every visitor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Superior customer service skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a family‑oriented team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Liaise between patient and doctor.
• Set up trays per daily charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate doctor’s needs.
• Assist chairside using four‑handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x‑rays as needed.
• Disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Maintain stocked operatory.

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
• Take alginates/pour and trim models
• Package and sterilize instruments
• Keep operatory fully stocked

Available To Work During Current Office Hours

• Monday - Thursday 8am - 5:30pm (alternating locations)
• Fridays as needed

Preferred Qualities

• Dental Office Experience
• Dentrix Ascend software experience
• X-Ray and ICE Certification
