Job summary

Advanced Dentistry of Scarsdale and Chappaqua Dentistry in Scarsdale, NY is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant/Treatment Coordinator who can greet and seat patients, act as a liaison between patient and doctor, and support our team with four-handed dentistry and charting.

You will take X-rays, enter treatment plans, sterilize instruments, and keep operatory stocked while delivering exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a dental office and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn & grow with the team.
• Ability to commute to Scarsdale, NY and Chappaqua, NY.
• Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by the day’s charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates/pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant/Treatment Coordinator. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor

Available To Work During Current Office Hours

• Monday - Thursday 8am - 5:30pm (alternating locations)
• Fridays as need

• X-Ray and ICE Certification

Salary Description $20-$25/ hour
