Job summary

The Scarsdale Dentist is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our family-oriented team in Scarsdale, NY. You will greet patients, assist chairside with four-handed dentistry, take X-rays, and help maintain a clean, fully stocked operatory. A high school diploma or GED and strong customer service are essential.

Preferred candidates have experience with Dentrix Ascend and ICE/X-Ray certification, and a willingness to learn and grow within our patient-focused practice.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take X-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates, pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask.

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
