Choice Health Care Services in Vacaville, CA, is seeking a Dental Assistant to support pediatric and orthodontic care. You will prep treatment rooms, assist the doctor, take X-rays, and help with sterilization and patient education.

Formación

• Certification from a dental college OR 3–6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• X-Ray certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• 8-hour Infection Control certification required.
• 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Takes x-rays.
• Takes IOs.
• Assist in prophylaxis cleaning of teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Charts cavities and teeth with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene.
• Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor.

Dental Assistant - $2000.00 Sign-on Bonus

Summary: The Dental Assistant supports dental and orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $20.00 -$25.00 /hr (Based on experience)

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Required Certificates or Licences:

• X-Ray certification
• BLS certification

• 8-hour Infection Control certification
• 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification
