Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners in Kentucky is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to welcome patients, assist the doctor, and support a smooth back-office experience. You will take, expose, and mount radiographs, sterilize rooms, prepare treatment areas, monitor lab materials, and contribute to a positive patient journey.

This full-time role offers a starting pay of $17–$19 per hour, a 401(k) match, PTO/holidays, medical/vision/life and disability insurance, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year working as a DA preferred.
  • X-ray and RDA certifications as examples by state.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the treatment room.
  • Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
  • Be knowledgeable of technologies and initiatives that impact the back-office.
  • Monitor lab materials and supplies.
  • Develop a relationship with the patient.
  • Follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms.
  • Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
  • Contribute to team goals and maintain a safe environment.

General Overview

Are you a Dental Assistant looking for a privately owned practice where you can help patients every day? Do you love to create a smooth environment that puts the patient first? If so we would LOVE to talk to you!

Schedule:

  • Monday: 7:30-5pm 1 hour lunch
  • Tuesday: 7:30-5pm 1 hour lunch
  • Wednesday: 7:30-5pm 1 hour lunch
  • Thursday: 7:30-5pm 1 hour lunch
  • Fridays: eventually
Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
  • Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
  • Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
  • Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
  • Develop a relationship with the patient.
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
  • Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
  • Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year working as a DA preferred
  • Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: XRay and RDA certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
