Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners is hiring a Dental Assistant in Rochester, MN. The role supports dentists, helps create a smooth patient experience, and handles sterilization, radiographs, and front-to-back office duties with a focus on safety and patient care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and seat them in the treatment room.
  • Assist the dentist with patient care.
  • Be familiar with current technologies and back-office processes.
  • Monitor lab materials and supplies.
  • Develop rapport with patients.
  • Comply with OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Sterilize instruments and prepare rooms.
  • Take and mount dental radiographs.
  • Contribute to team goals.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Job description

General Overview

Schedule:

  • Monday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Friday Off
Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
  • Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
  • Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back‑office experience.
  • Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
  • Develop a relationship with the patient.
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
  • Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
  • Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
Qualifications
  • New Grads welcome to apply! - License must be active
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
