Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners in Minnesota seeks a friendly Dental Assistant to welcome patients, set up treatment rooms, and assist the doctor during procedures. This private practice emphasizes patient comfort and smooth daily operations.

You will work four days a week with no weekends, plus a competitive benefits package including a 401(k) match, PTO, and health plans for you and your family. Prior radiology/certifications preferred; state requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED.
• State-required certifications such as Radiology Certification, CPR, RDA or RDAEF as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and orient them to the treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in patient care during procedures.
• Maintain familiarity with OSHA/HIPAA guidelines and clinical initiatives.
• Monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take, expose, and mount dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team to meet business goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.

General Overview

• Monday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Thursday 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Friday Off

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assista
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
