The Dental Center of Mishawaka is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a patient-focused team in Mishawaka, IN. The role supports the dentist and clinical team, helps ensure a comfortable patient experience, and contributes to a modern, safe dental environment.

Requirements include 1+ year of hands-on experience, X-Ray certification, EFDA certification, and CPR. A Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on dental assisting experience.
• X-Ray certification is required.
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification is required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures.
• Provide compassionate, friendly patient care.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take X-rays and assist with impressions and other diagnostics.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and other safety requirements.
• Assist with dental and medical emergencies as needed.
