Elite Dental Center in Arlington, Virginia invites a skilled Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. You will support the dentists, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take X-rays, educate patients on oral hygiene, and help manage emergencies with CPR readiness.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• 2 years on-the-job experience.
• X-Ray certification required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training annually.

Responsibilities

• ClinicalSupport: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• PatientCare: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling; assist with patient intake as needed.
• Emergency readiness: Support dentist during emergencies with CPR as needed.
