Job summary

The Dental Center of Mishawaka is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a patient-focused team in Mishawaka, IN. The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a full-time schedule, including Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

You will support the dentist and clinical team, prepare treatment rooms, take X-rays, educate patients, and maintain records in a modern office with advanced dental technology.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on dental assisting experience.
• X-Ray certification required.
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification and willingness to maintain required annual training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures.
• Provide compassionate, friendly patient care.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take X-rays and assist with impressions and other diagnostics.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and other safety requirements.
• Assist with dental and medical emergencies as needed.
