Northern Virginia Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Associates in Manassas, Virginia seeks a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team with high-quality patient care in a team-based environment.

We offer competitive hourly pay, part-time scheduling (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays), and opportunities for continuing education and professional development in a modern, technologically equipped office.

Formación

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program - Preferred.
• 1 year on-the-job experience.
• X-Ray certification - Required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Northern Virginia Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Associates is looking for a Dental Assistant in Manassas, Virginia to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
