CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Part-time Dental Assistant to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials. • Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• X-Ray certification required; BLS and infection control certifications preferred
• Professional and timely completion of dental assisting duties

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Takes x-rays
• Takes IO's
• Assist in prophylaxis cleaning of teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Charts cavities and teeth with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene
• Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor

Overview

Dental Assistant - Part TIme

Summary: The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. This is a part time position.

Pay Range: $16.90 - $21.49/hr (Based on experience)
