Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant in Colorado to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials. You will pass instruments and materials, take x-rays, and guide patients on oral hygiene in compliance with Colorado standards.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Colorado X-Ray certification and current BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Takes x‑rays.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Sterilizes instruments, sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene.

Summary

Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Colorado dental standards. This is a part time position to work Fridays and Saturdays.

• Assists the doctor in procedures

Education and/or Experience

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Required Certificates or Licenses

• Colorado X-Ray certification
• Current BLS certification
