Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners is seeking a Dental Assistant to support daily patient care in a privately owned practice. The role focuses on welcoming patients, assisting the dentist, and maintaining back-office operations with emphasis on safety and patient comfort.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate starting at 17–19, 401(k) with match, PTO/holidays, comprehensive insurance, and cross-training opportunities across the Dr, hygiene, and denture lab teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year working as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• State-required certifications such as X-Ray and RDA are preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of dental technologies and clinical initiatives impacting back-office operations.
• Monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount dental radiographs.
• Contribute to team goals and maintain a safe environment.

General Overview

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:30-5pm 1 hour lunch
• Tuesday: 7:30-5pm 1 hour lunch
• Wednesday: 7:30-5pm 1 hour lunch
• Thursday: 7:30-5pm 1 hour lunch
• Fridays: eventually

Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year working as a DA preferred
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: XRay and RDA certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
