Job summary

Ohio Kids Dental (Hamilton) is part of Kids Dental Brands and is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our pediatric team.

You will work chairside, take radiographs, prepare instruments, and educate families while keeping a safe, welcoming environment for children. Strong CPR and Ohio Radiology Certification are required for this role.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Ohio Radiology Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition).
• Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
