Job summary

Ohio Kids Dental, part of Kids Dental Brands, is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our pediatric team in Cuyahoga Falls. You will support chairside procedures, take X-rays, sterilize instruments, and help educate families on oral care in a welcoming, kid-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Ohio Radiology Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition).
• Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
