Kids Dental Brands' South Mississippi Smiles in Pascagoula is hiring a Dental Assistant. You'll work chairside with pediatric dentists, take X-rays, sterilize instruments, and support procedures while focusing on a friendly, child-centered experience.

A compassionate, patient-focused professional who enjoys working with families will thrive. Current CPR/BLS certification and Mississippi Dental Radiology Permit are required; this role offers a daytime schedule with growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition)
• Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families

Position Requirements

• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Mississippi Dental Radiology Permit
