Vander Vliet Advanced Dental Care in Hackettstown, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. Our focus is on preventive, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, aiming to support lifelong oral health and enhance patient confidence. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Dental Assistant. Responsibilities include four-handed assisting, laboratory procedures, instrument sterilization, disinfecting treatment rooms, setting up and breakdown of operatories, seating patients, updating health histories, stocking supplies, and administrative tasks such as supply ordering.

Hours

Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Dental Assisting and Oral Care skills
• Knowledge of dental procedures and sterilization techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting (a plus)
• Knowledge of Dentrix software (a plus)
• On-the-job training available
