Job summary

Kids Dental Place in Glendale, CA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients. You will assist with patient records, radiographs, and charting, while helping to educate families on oral health.

The role includes maintaining clinic cleanliness, sterilizing instruments, and supporting a friendly, efficient dental team dedicated to underserved children.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus.
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records.
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist.
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed.
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health.
• Organize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards.
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.

Kids Dental Place in Glendale, CA, is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

Pay range: $18-$26/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist

• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
