Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to underserved children. You'll help with patient records, radiographs, and clinical tasks.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with eClinical Works (eCW) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise patient records.
• Obtain dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist.
• Write accurate and consistent notes to match services performed.
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents and educate them on oral health.
• Sterilize dental instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant workstations.
• Keep the practice clean and presentable, including restrooms and common areas.
• Support other duties that align with providing high-quality dental services to underserved children.

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM, is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

Pay range: $18-$24/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
