Kids Dental Place in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in delivering high-quality and compassionate care to all patients.

Responsibilities include collecting and documenting patient records, taking radiographs as requested, maintaining accurate notes, and educating families on oral health while keeping the office clean and organized according to OSHA standards. This role offers a path for growth within the practice and region.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with active listening.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus.
• Previous dental office experience preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Kids Dental Place in Los Angeles, CA is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

Pay range: $18-$26/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
