Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a friendly dental assistant to join our clinical team. You’ll prepare patients and treatment rooms, educate patients on oral hygiene, and support the office to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires state-specific dental assistant credentials, CPR/BLS certification, strong communication, and knowledge of infection control. Salary ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, with benefits and PTO as part of employment.

Job description

Overview

In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday- Friday and 1 Saturday a month 9:00am-6:00pm

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles every day

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation

$18.00-22.00 an hour
