Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in Elyria, OH, is seeking a dental assistant to join our clinical team, supporting GPs and specialty clinicians, greeting patients and assisting across the practice.

You will prepare treatment rooms, educate patients on oral hygiene, and contribute to improving smiles every day. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care.

Overview

In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles every day

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)

Compensation

20-$23.00 Hourly
