Job summary

Smile Brands network in Elyria, Ohio seeks a dental assistant to support the clinical team, greet patients, and assist across the office. The role includes room preparation, patient education, and maintaining high standards of infection control.

Responsibilities focus on preparing treatment areas, educating patients on oral hygiene, and contributing to better oral health each day. Compensation is hourly with full-time hours Monday–Thursday, 9am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Job description

Overview

In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm
