Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
  1. Provide exceptional customer service with excellent chair-side manner, prioritizing the patient.
  2. Be present, engaged, and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
  3. Assist the doctor and hygienists with all dental procedures, taking direction and anticipating needs.
  4. Take, develop, and mount accurate radiographs.
  5. Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe notes.
  6. Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory before appointments.
  7. Maintain schedule and patient flow through efficient procedures.
  8. Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
  9. Collaborate with team members to deliver an extraordinary patient experience.
  10. Assist front office with scheduling and lab case tracking.
  11. Monitor and order dental supplies as assigned.
  12. Promote practice services and retail products.
  13. Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
  14. Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
  15. Follow safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  16. Complete required training modules.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current radiography certification.
  • Dental Assistant certification (state-specific or ability to obtain).
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
  • Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training annually.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
