Star Dental Partners in Chantilly, Virginia is seeking a dedicated Full Time Dental Assistant to join a long-tenured team. You will assist dentists chairside, welcome patients, and prepare them for treatments, while maintaining records and sterile environments.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm schedule with every other Saturday, competitive compensation based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Dental assistant training/certification required.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish or Korean).
• Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside.
• Welcome patients and prepare them for treatment.
• Set up instruments and dental materials for procedures.
• Sterilize instruments per regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Support post-operative instructions and patient care.
• Keep operatories clean and stocked.

Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule

Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Every other Saturday 9:00am - 2:00pm

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists chairside
• Welcomes patients
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Dental Assisting Experience
• Dental Assistant training/school certification
• Billingual - Preferred Spanish or Korean
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Experience with digital software
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowlege of scanning, basic assisting duties, intra-oral camera and good communicator
