Job summary

Otteson Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant to join our high-tech practice. You will welcome patients, assist the doctor, and help maintain a clean, efficient back office.

We offer a 4-day work week with no weekends, competitive pay at $22-$26/hour plus a $500 sign-on bonus, benefits, and opportunities for growth. Experience with Denticon and radiography is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Experience assisting with general and cosmetic procedures.
• High school diploma or GED.
• State-required certifications (Radiology, CPR, RDA/RDAEF).
• Experience with Denticon software is a plus (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
• Experience with Denticon software, a PLUS! (we will train)
