The role offers competitive hourly pay from $20 to $23 per hour, full-time schedule (Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-2pm), and benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, life and disability

Qualifications

• One-year dental assistant program completed is required.
• X-Ray certification is required.
• Spanish bilingual ability preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records including scheduling and intake.

Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
• X-Ray certification - Required
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
