Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during all dental procedures and maintain accurate patient charting
  • Capture high-quality radiographs and images
  • Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines
  • Assist hygienists as needed
Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Active State Dental Assisting license, if applicable
  • 2+ years of hands-on Dental Assistance experience
  • Current radiography certification, if applicable
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training as required by law
