Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services in Colorado is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support our pediatric dental care team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist with procedures, take x-rays, sterilize instruments, and guide patients on oral hygiene, all while upholding Colorado dental standards.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college OR 3–6 months related experience and/or training, preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
• Colorado X-Ray certification and current BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Takes x-rays.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene.

Summary

The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Colorado dental standards. This is a part time position to work Fridays and Saturdays.

Education and/or Experience

Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Required Certificates or Licenses

• Colorado X-Ray certification


• Current BLS certification
