Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments and materials; passing instruments and materials; and performing procedures in compliance with Colorado dental standards.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3–6 months related experience.
• Colorado X-Ray certification and current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Takes x-rays.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Takes x-rays

Education and/or Experience

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Required Certificates or Licenses

• Colorado X-Ray certification
• Current BLS certification
