Job summary

Choice-Healthcare-Services in Nevada seeks a part-time Dental Assistant to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, passing instruments, and assisting the doctor under Nevada standards.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3–6 months related experience and/or training, preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• X-Ray Nevada certification or affidavit is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Takes x-rays.
• Takes IO's.
• Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Charts cavities and teeth with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene.
• Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor.

Summary: The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Nevada dental standards.

pay range $14.90 to $19.38 (based on expereince)

• 4-hour Infection Control certification
