Job Description for Dental Assistant at Commonwealth Dentistry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during treatments
  • Coordinate treatments and present plans to patients
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records
  • Maintain dental instruments and supplies
  • Prepare materials and equipment for procedures
  • Ensure sterilization and sanitation of treatment rooms
  • Manage inventory and perform ancillary duties
  • Follow up with patients and escalate issues when needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • X-ray certification
  • CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
  • Ability to communicate treatment plans effectively
  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude
  • Adaptability, judgment, teamwork, initiative, confidentiality
  • Flexibility to work at different locations if required
