Job Description

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our wonderful team at Lumino Ferrymead.

At Lumino Ferrymead, we are a family-oriented practice with highly experienced clinicians and support staff who have been serving the Christchurch community for over 20 years.

As the new Dental Assistant, you will support our experienced team of clinicians. Your responsibilities will include assisting with various dental procedures during patient appointments, instrument sterilisation, infection control, and stock management. You may also be required to assist at reception from time to time, so being a people person is essential.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to fully train the right person!
• Ideally, sterilisation and/or customer-facing experience
• A warm and positive attitude with a team-oriented approach
• A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• Computer skills with the ability to learn quickly
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
