Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a self-motivated Business Development Representative for the Affiliations Team to drive growth by sourcing and affiliating with high-quality dental practices and owners.

You will build relationships with doctors and intermediaries through outbound calls, meetings, and conferences, manage prospect data in the CRM, and work with due diligence and operations to ensure smooth transitions and lasting partnerships.

Qualifications

• Five years of sales, consulting or M&A experience in healthcare.
• Experience working with dentist or doctor owners through ownership transitions.
• Ability to cold-call and to answer telephone calls and communicate information to callers.
• Advanced communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Source new affiliation leads from owners, brokers, CPAs, and other channels.
• Build relationships with doctors and intermediaries via calls, meetings, and events.
• Maintain prospect information/tracking data in CRM and related systems.
• Track outbound activity and move deals through the funnel with the team.
