Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a self-motivated Business Development Representative for the Affiliations Team. The role focuses on origination and sourcing opportunities by contacting doctors and intermediaries through calls, meetings, and events to grow Heartland's deal flow.

The candidate will partner with internal teams for successful long-term partnerships and will travel extensively to engage with potential affiliation targets and industry events.

Qualifications

• Five years of sales, consulting, or M&A experience in dental or healthcare services.
• Experience working with dentist/doctor owners through ownership transitions.
• Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills; ability to articulate value.
• Experience in cold outreach and building relationships with external parties.

Responsibilities

• Source affiliation leads from owners, brokers, CPAs, and other channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with doctors and intermediaries to expand deal flow.
• Represent Heartland at trade shows and conferences for lead generation.
• Maintain prospect data in CRM and track outbound activity.
• Collaborate with due diligence and operations teams to close deals.
