Job summary

Patronus AI is seeking privacy analysts who can verify and fulfil data subject access and deletion requests, maintain data maps and processing records, and apply retention rules under GDPR and CCPA. You don't need an AI background.

You will explain workflows, review DSAR intake and verification records, data maps and ROPA entries, retention schedules, and response letters; write precise rubrics; create new tasks from fictional scenarios; and work independently.

• Review DSAR intake/verifications, data maps and ROPA, retention schedules, letters and logs; flag unrealistic items.
• Write scoring rubrics precise enough that two reviewers reach the same verdict.
• Create new tasks from fictional scenarios, solve them and document your reasoning.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meet deadlines and work in reviewer feedback.

Job description

Pay: $50–$100/hr

Commitment: Flexible, typically 10–20 hours per week

We're looking for privacy analysts who do this work today. In your role you receive, verify and fulfil data subject access and deletion requests, maintain data maps and records of processing, and apply retention rules under GDPR and CCPA. You'll help us show frontier AI models how that work is really done, and where they get it wrong. You don't need an AI background.

What you'll do

• Explain how the work is done in your role: the steps, the documents, who decides what, and where things go wrong.
• Review realistic task packets, such as DSAR intake and verification records, data maps and ROPA entries, retention schedules, response letters and request logs, and flag anything a practitioner would find unrealistic.
• Write scoring rubrics precise enough that two independent reviewers reach the same verdict.
• Create new, original tasks from fictional scenarios, solve them yourself and document your reasoning.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meet agreed deadlines and work in reviewer feedback.
