Job summary

Cooper University Health Care seeks a seasoned Registration Compliance professional to manage denial analytics and optimize Epic-based registration workflows. The role supports the Camden-based Healthcare Access team and collaborates with Revenue Cycle leadership to mitigate denials and improve efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in hospital revenue cycle, strong data reporting skills, and experience with Epic systems, ICD-10/CPT coding, and payer policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, relevant healthcare field.
• Minimum four years in hospital, ambulatory, patient access, or related revenue cycle experience.
• Experience researching, collecting, and presenting information.
• Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office; understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.
• Epic User Web / Optimization experience required.
• Excellent writing and communication; deadline oriented; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive HCA registration compliance and optimize departmental performance.
• Analyze denial data to identify trends and remediation opportunities.
• Present denial metrics to Healthcare Access Leadership.
• Review Notice of Admission submissions for payer requirements.
• Collaborate with Epic IT to optimize Epic Registration dashboards.
• Develop and maintain quality monitoring forms, policies, procedures, guidelines, and training materials.
• Provide SME support across Camden and Cape May.
