Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Selling Demo Representative in Sugar Land, TX, to engage Customers through product demonstrations and hospitality-driven events. You will educate Customers on product features, samples, and savings, helping drive loyalty and sales across in-store experiences.

The role emphasizes strong communication, flexible hours, and a passion for customer service and community engagement, with opportunities to participate in a variety of cooking demos and tastings in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• 18+ required.
• Experience in sales or customer service.
• Experience in product demonstration preferred.
• Knowledge of sales or product demonstration preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain product ingredients and recipe components for allergy/dietary concerns.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift between projects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Passion for customer service and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Follow the customer service and hospitality model to connect with Customers, building loyalty.
• Create an atmosphere of celebration by participating in store events.
• Engage Customers with enthusiasm, sharing product knowledge, samples, and savings information; surprise and delight Customers.
• Provide excellent customer service; answer product questions; help Customers locate merchandise.
• Review educational materials and experience products prior to each scheduled event.
• Ensure all selling materials are printed and displayed to support engagement.
• Prepare, stage, execute, and close events including product, equipment, supplies, and safety needs.
• Prepare products for demonstrations/samplings.
• Review daily sales reports and understand success metrics.
