OSM Thome Recruitment is seeking an experienced Demi Chef de Partie for Carnival Cruise Line. You will support the Executive Chef and galley management on board to oversee food preparation within your area.

Rotation: 7-8 months on / 2 months off. Candidates must have 3+ years in similar roles, STCW certificates, health and Covid-19 certificates, and English proficiency. US visa C-1/D preferred but not required, visa must be obtained before start date.

Formación

• 3+ years experience in similar roles at hotel, resort or cruise vessels.
• US visa C-1/D preferred but not required; transit/crewmember visa must be obtained before start date.
• Covid-19 certificate and health certificate required.
• Basic STCW training certificates.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the quality and presentation of all food served.
• Follow USPH procedures in all food production and galley maintenance.
• Assist the first cook in directing and leading assistant cooks and trainees.
• Ensure backup is provided for service lines.
• Follow recipes to company specifications and minimize wastage.
• Communicate and cooperate with all team members for smooth food delivery.
• Ensure environmental separation standards are followed.
• Perform other tasks assigned by senior management.
