Brookdale Biloxi is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide dementia care in a resident-centered community. You will follow personalized service plans, encourage independence, and help residents engage in meaningful daily activities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of direct care experience. Knowledge of dementia, ability to follow medication guidelines where allowed, and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3–6 months direct care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
• Ability to follow state guidelines for medications when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide dementia care following the resident's service plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and meals.
• Encourage residents to be as independent as possible.
• Maintain accurate resident records and report changes to supervisor.
• Support safe and clean living environments and follow medication procedures where applicable.
• Collaborate with team and leadership to enhance resident well-being.
