Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in Los Angeles, CA seeks a compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) to assist clients with daily activities and personal tasks in home care settings. Duties include bathing, feeding, grooming, and medication reminders, along with light housekeeping and mobility support.

Ideal candidates have proven PCA experience, a genuine desire to help others, and the ability to monitor health changes and report needs to the care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven work experience as a PCA.
• Ability to assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, and medication reminders.
• Training in personal care aide duties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming and medication reminders.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing bed linens.
• Transporting and accompanying clients to doctors' office or hospital.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with client’s exercise and outdoor activities.
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals.
