Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) to assist clients in daily activities and personal tasks in home settings across California. You will support bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders while promoting safety and independence.

Qualifications

• Comply with CareBuilders at Home policies and procedures.
• Proven work experience as a personal care aide.
• Training in personal care aide duties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming and medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing bed linens
• Transporting and accompanying clients to doctors office or to hospital
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment
• Assist with client’s exercise and outdoor activities
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals
