Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a program manager to oversee dementia care initiatives within our Clare Bridge communities in Virginia. You will coach care associates, lead resident and family engagement efforts, and ensure high-quality, person-centered programming across dining and care services.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in gerontology or related field and have at least three years of management experience, with experience in dementia care in residential settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field.
• Minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in a residential setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full implementation of resident and family engagement dementia care program; coach and lead associates who are caregivers.
• Collaborate with leadership on dementia training, admissions, move-in/out, hiring, and education on dementia care; plan dementia-friendly program calendar.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in gerontology / therapeutic recreation / related field
