Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Memory Support Director to lead dementia care delivery at our Carlisle-area facility. You will guide the care team to achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient/resident satisfaction.

You will manage the department budget, supervise staff, complete rounds, oversee education and competency validation, and champion a strong quality improvement program. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field, 3+ years in dementia care, 2+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Social Work, Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology or related field.
• Three years of direct dementia care delivery experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• State licensure in respective discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a dementia care quality program addressing patient/resident needs.
• Budget development and control for the Memory Care Department; participate in business planning.
• Manage memory care staffing: hiring, onboarding, performance management.
• Complete rounds to assess care needs and outcomes.
• Ensure education, training and competency validation per policies and regulations.
• Lead Quality Improvement initiatives within the department.
