Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Memory Support Program Director in Sistersville, WV. You will plan, develop, organize, evaluate and direct the Memory Support Program operations to support residents with dementia while upholding dignity and independence.

The role requires dementia care experience and a couple of years in management, with a focus on evidence-based practices, compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality care and family satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology or related field is required.
• Three+ years of direct dementia care experience required.
• Two+ years of management/administrative/supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, evaluate and direct the Memory Support Program operations.
• Foster a climate and standards that maximize residents’ individuality, independence and dignity.
• Deliver evidence-based dementia care practices while ensuring satisfaction of residents and families.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local guidelines and company policies.
