Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is seeking a Demand Planning Senior Manager to oversee a network of airports and facilities, aligning staffing with forecasted demand and budgets. Responsibilities
- Translate strategic budgets into tactical rostering and scheduling for the region.
- Maintain accurate schedules and SLAs by ensuring staff and equipment planning aligns with demand.
- Make resource usage economical to optimise productivity.
- Support pro-forma development for new contract opportunities.
- Ensure roster quality meets forecasted workload demand.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform staffing plans at local stations.
- Lead regional workforce planners to drive operational profitability.
- Collaborate with general managers to embed new processes and standards.
- Coordinate with finance on headcount forecasts and budget planning.
- Review plans vs. actuals and adjust reporting routines at stations.

The Demand Planning Senior Manager position oversees a region of airports and facilities where WFS services its Customers. This position monitors workforce strategy and ensures employee staffing levels with the right skills at the right time are aligned for short and mid-term needs. The Senior Manager must be able to lead a team of workforce planners as they work to create efficiencies in the operation and analyze station productivity.
The position provides the first level of roster review and reports up to Center of Excellence leadership. The Senior Manager works with Senior WFS Leadership to prioritize and strategize resource planning work while being able to support the team in Leadership's absence. The Senior Manager touches all phases of workforce management within the organization, from forecasting to recruiting to training. In addition to tactical tasks such as job fulfillment, the Senior Manager will provide tactical and strategic advice to company decision-makers driven by thorough analyses.
- Ensure the team maintains accurate schedules and SLA's of the airline customers are met through effective and efficient planning of staff and equipment resources following company guidelines and Law and legislation of the relevant country.
- Ensure that resource requirements are efficient and economical to optimize productivity
- Support pro-formats for new commercial contract opportunities
- Ensure roster quality to meet forecasted workload demand
- Support business strategic decisions by providing an accurate data analysis about demand and workforce needs. Develop staffing plan for local stations to deploy
- Work with individual GM's to embed new process
- Determination and implementation of effective engagement standards
- Roll out and embed new rosters as needed or requested on basis of Workload Profiles
- Review Plans vs Actual while tracking, managing and reporting out KPIs'
- Amend and change reporting routines at local stations
- Advise changes to local and regional organizations
- Ensure that trained staff are scheduled to satisfy the requirements of the airlines while meeting Safety and Security standards
- Coordinate with Finance leadership on forecasted headcount changes
- Budget and reforecasting activities
- Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience OR 6-9 years' experience in budgeting, business analysis, planning & rostering
- Knowledge of change management and influential factors
- Knowledge of CBA, Labor Laws & regulations (preferred)
- Knowledge of RMS solutions (like Inform, SP Expert, SITA or other) is an asset, but not mandatory
- Must be able to work under high demand and pressure
- Strong Excel skills
