Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate demand management for import and domestic category product lines.
• Maintain and develop monthly forecasts for a category portfolio using Demand Planning software.
• Analyze and develop weekly demand plan to ensure consistent flow of finished goods.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels, improve inventory turns, and meet customer demand via in-stock merchandise.
• Develop understanding of forecasting and planning software to optimize flow from forecast to PO transmission and safety stock decisions.
• Foster vendor relationships and collaborate with vendors to meet supply chain expectations.
• Coordinate with the global logistics and merchandising teams to ensure seamless product flow across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support company-wide decision making.

Raymour & Flanigan, the premier furniture retailer in the Northeast, is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional, based in Liverpool, NY, that can join our team and work to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. The position is ideal for a career minded individual with 3-5 years relevant experience and a four year college degree.

Expectations and Job Functions:

• Oversee and coordinate the critical functions of demand management process for import and domestic category product lines.
• Maintain and develop monthly forecast for a category specific portfolio using the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting tool.
• Analyze and develop weekly demand plan to achieve consistent flow of finished goods.
• Ensure optimal levels of inventory are maintained, while increasing inventory turns and satisfying customer demand via in stock merchandise.
• Develop systems understanding of forecasting and planning software to enhance and flow product from forecast, to purchase order transmission, acknowledgement, expediting, and apply analytical skills to safety stock levels and anticipated demand as it relates to the sales forecast and vendors order flow capabilities.
• Develop and foster vendor relationships at various level.
• Collaborate with vendor community to ensure compliance with Raymour & Flanigan's supply chain management expectations.
• Coordinate with the global logistics team, as well as with the merchandising team, to ensure seamless flow of merchandise throughout the supply chain.
• Form a close, cooperative and supportive relationship with cross functional partners to ensure mutually beneficial decisions are made from a broad company perspective.

Qualifications:

• Must thrive in a fast paced, demand orientated business with frequent and rapid priority changes.
• Strong analytical skills, decision making ability and demonstrated business acumen.
• 3-5 years supply chain or ERP Demand Planning work experience
• Four year college degree required
