The Amazon Fresh Grocery team is seeking a Demand Planner to join our dynamic team, with locations in Seattle WA, New York, Arlington VA, Nashville TN, Austin TX, Chicago, IL, or Santa Monica CA.

Role Overview

As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for analytical forecasting and demand planning. The ideal candidate is passionate about analytics, process development, and thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You should be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage demand and forecast for your category and vendor network.
  2. Collaborate with category, marketing, and finance teams to set demand plans aligned with business goals.
  3. Critically evaluate demand forecasts and challenge assumptions.
  4. Analyze historical data, research demand drivers, develop statistical models, and assess forecast accuracy.
  5. Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automate processes, and implement improvements.
Traits for Success
  1. Communicate ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders, including executives.
  2. Define data requirements and metrics effectively; proficient in Excel and SQL.
  3. Manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel.
  • 4+ years in supply chain, inventory management, or project management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of statistical inventory control principles.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma.

Compensation varies by location, ranging from $66,000 to $141,100 annually, based on experience, skills, and market factors. Additional benefits and total compensation details are available on our website.
